A Kailyard in Adelaide! Our attempts to be domestically sustainable in the foothills of Adelaide. Yesterday was the monthly working bee and swap at the Happy Patch Community Garden. We took along some of the seedlings we grew from heirloom seeds plus a few aloe vera pups and came away with a variety of citrus, a couple of old Grass Roots magazines and some seeds to share at the Seed Freedom Food Festival. There are also three large pots growing .

Soon this hobby took on a life of its own and I began to crochet as a form of therapy. I love to pick up a hook and start creating. Creating things helps me feel accomplished.
